About Pamela Zeibak McCombs, the Artist

Pamela is a native of California, where nature is at her most beautiful. Growing up next to the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by lush greenery and spectacular rock formations, Pamela was inspired early in her life by her surroundings and her love for geology.

After graduation from San Francisco State University, she married and moved to the Middle East where she lived and worked for 25 years. During that time she traveled extensively and was hugely inspired by the great Indian goldsmiths' work that she encountered daily. The largely ethnic designs were always some of her favorites and today you can see that influence in some of her designs.

She prefers to work with natural, natural gemstones and precious metals. Although, some of her ethnic style bracelets look more striking done in bronze or copper. She is also very sensitive to the cost of precious metals today and wants her jewelry to be accessible to everyone. Pamela loves making dramatic, yet feminine designs. She specializes in bracelets of all kinds: gemstone and silver, and cuff bracelets with gemstones and those created from beaten, hammered metal. Bracelets are a favorite of hers because the wearer of the adornment can look at it all day long and enjoy it!

Today, Pamela lives and works in Southern California and Texas, where she,  her husband, and their cat maintain residences.

Pamela is an Accredited Jewelry Professional and a Graduate Gemologist, from the Gemological Institute of America, an avid rock hound, gem geek and knitter.
